The Light Truck Accessory Alliance (LTAA) will once again host its Media Preview at the 2016 SEMA Show. The event is designed to connect members of the media to LTAA-member companies that are spotlighting new products. The event traditionally attracts more than two dozen exhibitors and is open to all members of the media. The 2016 event will be held in the Media Center, located on the Sky Bridge in the Las Vegas Convention Center on Monday, October 31. Save the date!
The Hot Rod Industry Alliance (HRIA) will be hosting three events at the National Street Rod Association (NSRA) 2016 Nationals. The industry- and consumer-driven event will take place August 4–7 at the Kentucky Expo Center in Louisville. Those who are attending the nationals also have the opportunity to attend the HRIA Education Day, the alliance’s general membership meeting and the Hot Rod Builder’s Challenge. Members of the light-truck and restyling markets will gather to discuss the industry and plan for the future, Wednesday, July 16. SEMA’s Light Truck Accessory Alliance (LTAA) and Professional Restylers Organization (PRO) will each host meetings from 9:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m., with a break for a joint networking lunch between the groups.
Rich Barsamian, chair-elect of the Motorsports Parts Manufacturers Council (MPMC) and Brian Reese, chair of the Emerging Trends and Technology Network (ETTN), were elected to the Council-Board Leadership Committee (CBLC) at last week’s Council Leadership Summit in Pomona, California.
Clayton Drescher is the latest addition to SEMA’s council staff. As senior manager of councils, he works closely with the volunteer council leadership on a variety of projects and initiatives—all designed to help members learn and network while promoting their market segment.

this new program allows manufacturers to efficiently and effectively
provide product training to hundreds or even thousands of resellers
throughout the industry for what they might spend to educate only a few
using traditional means.
