Installation Gala and Pinewood Races Return July 29

Join friends and colleagues for the 2016 SEMA Installation Gala, an evening dedicated to the specialty-equipment industry’s pioneers and dedicated volunteers and honoring the 2016 SEMA Hall of Fame honorees as well as the association’s incoming and outgoing Board members. The Gala will be held Friday, July 29, at the Fairplex Conference Center in Pomona, California. The celebration will include a cocktail reception beginning at 6:00 p.m., where the SEMA Pinewood Drag Races will take place. Dinner will follow at 7:00 p.m.

Each year, hundreds of SEMA-member companies generously sponsor cars in the Pinewood Drag Races, with 100% of the proceeds going to qualified SEMA Cares charities. Members can either sponsor child-built cars or build and enter their own SEMA-supplied stock cars. To learn more, visit www.sema.org/pinewood.

All member companies are invited, but seats are limited. Tickets can be purchased at www.sema.org/gala.

SEMA Data Co-op Launches Automatic Updates

SEMA Data Co-op
Learn more about the SDC’s automatic update program at www.semadatacoop.org.

The SEMA Data Co-op (SDC) recently introduced a new feature that gives receivers instant data updates and makes it possible for manufacturers to get their products to market faster than ever before. Receivers will now automatically and instantly receive updated data formatted to their individual requirements any time a supplier publishes new information. With more than 1,200 manufacturers included in the repository, the SDC is the largest openly accessible industry product-data repository.

Receivers who prefer to regulate the flow of data may choose to utilize the delivery scheduler, which can manage deliveries by date and time in both full file refreshes or net changes since the last delivery.

For more information, contact SDC’s Jim Graven at jimg@semadatacoop.org or 888-958-6698 x4.
