This is the ’17 Nissan GT-R caught testing in California. An upcoming round of revisions appears to include moderate styling updates to the existing car. A totally new GT-R is rumored to be coming no sooner than 2018, so this set of changes should be substantial enough to hold the car over until then.

Up front, there’s a revised fascia with a deeper, more aggressive air intake under the grille. More changes are seen at the rear, with new LED lights, a revised bumper cover and a more angular look than on the existing car.

Expect to see this GT-R on sale sometime in fall 2016.

This is the Ford F-150 caught testing in Dearborn with a camo’d bed, venturi exhaust tip and 3.0 V6 diesel engine. Ford is preparing to introduce a turbodiesel to the F-150 line.

While logic might dictate that Ford would use the 3.2L five-cylinder Power Stroke diesel that’s been federalized for the Transit line of vans, insiders say that the company will use the Lion V6. This 3.0L unit has 254 hp and 443 lb.-ft. of torque. The diesel is also slated to use the new 10-speed automatic that debuts in the ’17 Raptor, which may push its efficiency into the 30-mpg territory.

Expect the diesel F-150 to go on sale after summer 2016.
