About this product:
The 2008 SEMA Show attracted more than 100,000 attendees to nearly
2,000 exhibitor booths, confirming that the $38.11 billion
specialty-equipment industry remains strong despite global economic
woes. But just as the election of Barack Obama on November 4
(coincidentally the first day of the 2008 SEMA Show) signaled a
transformation for America, change was also afoot in the automotive
world. The credit crunch continued to plague companies of all kinds,
and the domestic automakers scrambled to solidify their positions. Yet
serious buyers and sellers still streamed into the aisles in the Las
Vegas Convention Center (LVCC). Instead of waiting to get back to the office to place orders, companies were finalizing deals on the Show floor.
