Hosting a press conference can be an effective way to reach a large number of media.
Exhibitors interested in hosting a press conference should note:
- Hosting a press conference is not for every exhibitor. While a press conference can be an effective and efficient way to get your news to a large number of media, it is not suited for every type of news announcement. A great deal of planning goes into holding a successful press conference, and there is no guarantee that media will show up.
- Submitting an application does not guarantee an official press conference slot. All applications will be reviewed and applicants will be notified of the status in mid-August. The final press conference schedule will be released in September.
- A confirmation email is automatically sent when the application is received. If a confirmation email is not received, there may be technical problems and the application may not have gone through successfully.
- There are several other resources available to help exhibitors connect with media.
