Nick Caminiti Crowned 2016 King of the Wrap World

Richard Rawlings (right) of Gas Monkey Garage and “Fast N’ Loud” fame presented the 2016 Wrap Like a King Challenge award to Nick Caminiti of Exotic Graphix.

Avery Dennison Graphics Solutions announced that Toxic Rat by Nick Caminiti, car wrap installer at Exotic Graphix in Carrum Downs, Victoria, Australia, was named the King of the Wrap World 2016 in the “Wrap Like a King” Challenge. Caminiti competed against 223 other installers from 21 countries to earn the title.

The entry’s design was inspired by the ’60s, and the printed film creating a look not possible with custom paint. To achieve the Toxic Rat design on the back of the car, the rat was airbrushed and scanned in high definition before it was printed on the DOL 1460 overlaminate.

In addition to its exterior, the inside of the ’30 Ford Tudor was wrapped to give the entry a cohesive look.

The grand prize package is valued at nearly $5,000 and includes a cash prize of $1,000, a Wrap Like a King Challenge trophy, an Avery Dennison class of choice, a personalized Race Ramp product, almost $1,000 worth of marketing support from Avery Dennison and more.
