Car Zone LLC—a United Arab Emirates (UAE)-based company—is seeking accessories and performance products for the Nissan Patrol Y62. The truck is extremely popular not only in the UAE but also throughout the Middle East. Majed Almehairi, the firm’s CEO and partner, is looking for products to enhance the experience of Patrol owners on the streets, in the desert, off-road and hunting. SEMA members have the rare opportunity to measure and develop a ’16 Nissan Patrol stateside, thanks to a temporary loan by Car Zone. The truck is currently housed at the Diamond Bar, California-based SEMA Garage.
Almehairi attended the SEMA Show for the first time last year, and was impressed by the wide array of quality products on display.
“I attended the 2015 SEMA Show, and I was amazed about the aftermarket product and small- and medium-sized companies at SEMA,” Almehairi said. “We look forward to working with the right U.S. companies to make aftermarket products for on-road and off-road products for the Patrol.”
Almehairi has confirmed he will also attend the 2016 SEMA Show.
UAE enthusiasts love to go off-road, noted Almehairi, and his firm is interested in selling a number of aftermarket products for the Patrol, including accessories, performance products, off-road suspension upgrades, bodykits, bumpers (light-weight, not stainless steel), lighting, wheels and tires.
A ’16 Nissan Patrol Y62 is now available for measuring at the SEMA Garage. The four-wheel-drive vehicle, built in Japan, is powered by a 5.6L V8 gasoline engine mated to a seven-speed automatic transmission.
The products being sought by Car Zone include (but are not limited to):
A Nissan Y62 Patrol Nismo-inspired bodykit designed for city driving.
Off-road accessories, including those similar to the pictures below (but are not limited to):
