Submissions for the 2015 Launch Pad competition—where young entrepreneurs present their business plans to some of the industry’s biggest influencers—are due by July 3. Launch Pad is open to members of SEMA’s Young Executives Network. To learn more about the program requirements, visit the Launch Pad website.
Through the competition, finalists will pitch their businesses to this year’s judges: Doug Evans, executive vice president, chief operating officer, Luken Communications LLC; Wade Kawasaki, president/COO of Coker Group; Ron Coleman, president and CEO of COMP Performance Group; Myles Kovacs, president and co-founder of DUB Publishing Inc.; and Jessi Combs, industry personality and entrepreneur. The SEMA Show judges will select the winning YEN executive.
The 2015 SEMA Launch Pad Competition will be held November 4, 2015, at the Las Vegas Convention Center, Room N258 (North Hall, second floor).
Through participation in the program, all competitors will receive substantial industry exposure at the SEMA Show and beyond. But the ultimate winner also walks away with a prize package specifically designed to boost the status of his or her budding young business, including a free 10x10-ft. booth at the 2016 SEMA Show.
