Chinese Government Officials Visit Southern California to Learn About the Specialty-Equipment Market

A delegation of 11 officials from five Chinese government agencies, including the Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM), visited SEMA for a day of discussion on the specialty-equipment market in the United States. The delegation also visited two SEMA-member manufacturers, Hotchkis Performance and Injen Technology.

SEMA CEO and President Chris Kersting greets the Chinese government delegation who visited SEMA headquarters last week to meet with SEMA executives and better understand United States' laws regarding customization.
Injen Vice President of Sales and Marketing Ed Rossi demonstrates the company’s new performance air-intake system being tested in their Pomona, California-based facility.
Hotchkis Performance President and Founder John Hotchkis described to the visiting delegation how his roots in racing and experiences on the track has helped him to create a wide array of high-end suspension products for both track and street use.
