MOVERS AND SHAKERS: PETER TARACH, PAUL MURPHY, NORIO KARASHIMA, FRANK CISEK, SCOTT ANDERSON AND MORE

The Modified Automotive Group, a division of PRIMEDIA Inc., promoted Peter Tarach to editor-in-chief, and Paul Murphy to associate publisher of Modified magazine. Tarach began his career with Modified magazine in 2004 as the technical editor, and was promoted to East Coast editor in 2006.

Fleet Equipment magazine announced that Tim Barton has joined its staff as senior editor. Barton has more than 20 years experience in the trucking industry working as a journalist and a driver. Barton brings to the job a wealth of knowledge about truck equipment and a well-developed set of journalistic skills. Fleet Equipment magazine is published monthly by Babcox Publications.
