SEMA and its Automotive Restoration Market Organization (ARMO) and Hot Rod Industry Alliance (HRIA) councils announced that the next Collector Car Appreciation Day (CCAD) will be celebrated July 14, 2017.
The U.S. Senate passed Senate Resolution 507 (S. Res. 507) designating July 8, 2016, as Collector Car Appreciation Day (CCAD).
The Hot Rod Industry Alliance (HRIA) aims to provide programs and effective strategies to ensure the prosperity of the hot-rod industry. Two of the council’s programs are proven successes in raising awareness for the builders of the industry. HRIA’s Feature Vehicle Program and Builder’s Challenge highlight up-and-coming talented builders as well as promote HRIA members’ parts. These programs are produced annually at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas.

The U.S. Senate passed Senate Resolution 493 (S. Res. 493) designating July 11, 2014, as “Collector Car Appreciation Day.” The Resolution was requested by SEMA and its Automotive Restoration Market Organization (ARMO) [14] and Hot Rod Industry Alliance (HRIA) [9] councils. The date marks the fifth commemoration in what has become an annual event to celebrate and raise awareness of the vital role automotive restoration and collection plays in American society.
