In what has become an annual tradition, Omix-ADA recently unveiled a project Jeep built in support of SEMA Cares, the association’s program benefitting children’s charities. The debut took place at the recent 50th anniversary SEMA Show in Las Vegas. After its unveiling at SEMA Central, the vehicle served as a dramatic conversation piece, raising vital awareness for SEMA Cares charitable efforts within the automotive aftermarket.
Bill Trumpfheller, president and CEO of the Nuffer, Smith, Tucker public relations firm in San Diego, suffered cardiac arrest while in the San Bernardino mountains with his family last week.
The vehicle will be unveiled at the 2016 SEMA Show and auctioned off for charity in January 2017.
Omix-ADA will showcase a custom-built Jeep Wrangler JK Unlimited in support of SEMA Cares in the Grand Lobby at the 2016 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, November 1–4.
Laurel Dasher of MaganFlow has been elected chair of the SEMA Scholarship Committee, and Rick Barsamian has been elected chair of the SEMA Cares Committee.
Childhelp is one of several notable charities supported each year by the SEMA Cares Pinewood Drag Races fundraiser.

Each year SEMA Cares volunteers make a difference by donating their love and time to several Pinewood Drag Races build days throughout the United States to support children in need.
The Petty’s Garage/SEMA Cares 2015 Ford Mustang was auctioned last weekend through Mecum Auctions in Indianapolis.
The SEMA Cares seventh annual Council Cup will once again pit council versus council in the name of a very good cause—helping children in need.
