The Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) announced today the Top Ten builders in the SEMA Battle of the Builders® Competition. They now advance to the next round where showgowers and the public watch as they evaluate and judge one another’s vehicle before the ultimate winner is announced at SEMA Ignited on Friday, November 6. The Top Ten builders will judge each other on Friday, November 6 from 11:00am to 2:30pm and the Top Three Finalists will be announced at 3:30pm at the SEMA Show Car Crazy Stage. The winner will be announced later that evening at SEMA Ignited.
The Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) has announced the Top 21 builders in the SEMA Battle of the Builders® competition. These 21 builders have a passion for modifying cars, trucks and SUVs and inspire the aftermarket community with their ingenuity and expertise. Introduced at the SEMA Show last year, the SEMA Battle of the Builders® competition recognizes the builders the aftermarket community considers best.
The finals of the 2015 SEMA Battle of the Builders will take place Friday, November 6, at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas, but master craftsmen and vehicle owners were queued up well in advance to sign up for a chance to claim the winner’s trophy. Entries began to be posted at the official SEMA Ignited website (www.SEMAignited.com [5]) in August, and while the determination of final status was also dependent on each entry landing a spot as a display, feature or booth vehicle at the Show, early indications pointed to another strong field.
Nearly 200 vehicle builders have entered the second-annual SEMA Battle of the Builders [7] competition taking place at the 2015 SEMA Show [8], November 3–6, in Las Vegas.
The SEMA Show New Products Showcase—one of the most sought-after attractions at the annual event—will be located on the bridge between the Central and South Halls at the west end of the Las Vegas Convention Center during the 2015 SEMA Show.

Applications are now being accepted for the 2015 SEMA Battle of the Builders, the association’s build competition that debuted last year and was the focus of a Velocity TV special viewed by more than one million fans.
More than 125 builders competed in the inaugural SEMA Battle of the Builders competition, where they battled their way onto a nationwide TV special and gained the recognition of more than 2 million viewers around the world.
