-- Executives from 32 top U.S. auto parts manufacturers will converge with Middle East businesses during the seventh annual SEMA Business Expo on April 5-7 in Abu Dhabi --

DIAMOND BAR, Calif. (March 28, 2018) – Leading U.S. manufacturers will showcase their products to buyers in the lucrative Middle East market during the seventh annual SEMA Middle East Business Development Expo, April 5-7 in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The 2018 SEMA delegation will include 70 executives from 32 companies throughout the U.S., including returning manufacturers Edelbrock, Borla Performance, COMP Performance, and Injen Technology and a dozen other companies that are attending the three-day UAE event with SEMA for the first time.

“This is a great time for American specialty parts companies to come to the UAE, where they have the opportunity to use the country’s strategic position to access buyers from throughout the Gulf region,” said U.S. Chargé d’Affaires Steve Bondy. “Car owners in the UAE and the area are always on the lookout for products that will make their vehicles stand out from the crowd.”  

The SEMA Middle East program provides opportunities for the visiting American delegation to meet one-on-one with buyers from throughout the region, and for the first time ever the U.S. companies will get to exhibit all three days at the Custom Show Emirates, the biggest custom cars and bikes show in the Middle East.

“By exhibiting their products in the SEMA Section at the Custom Show Emirates, the U.S. companies will connect with a market that is eager to buy the latest products from U.S. manufacturers,” said SEMA Senior Director of International & Government Affairs Linda Spencer. “Enthusiasts in the Middle East not only possess a passion for personalization but also have disposable income that make it a very attractive region.”
